MAGIC GAME HONGKONG LIMITED (“Magic Game”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a company incorporated in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you play our games, use our website at magicgamehk.com, contact our support team, or otherwise interact with our services (together, the “Service”), how we use and share that data, and the rights you have.

1. Personal Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

1.1 Data you provide to us

• Account data, if a game offers accounts: nickname, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and the platform account identifier you sign in with.
• Support data: the name, email address, and message content you send through our contact form, support email, or account-deletion request.
• Purchases: records of in-app purchases processed by the App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details; the store processes payments and shares with us only the order status and, in some cases, an anonymised transaction identifier.

1.2 Data we collect automatically when you play

• Device data: device model, operating system and version, language and region, screen resolution, app version, network type, and a device or app-scoped identifier.
• Advertising identifiers: the Google Advertising ID (GAID) on Android and the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS, where you have not limited ad tracking in your device settings.
• Usage and gameplay data: game progress, sessions, levels played, in-game events, crash reports, and performance data.
• IP address, used to provide the Service, for security, and to derive coarse location (country or region).

1.3 Data we collect on our website

Our website is a static site. It does not set marketing cookies and does not require you to create an account. If you submit the contact form, your email client opens and you send the message to us directly; we receive your name, email address, and message, and use them only to answer you.

3. Sharing Personal Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as needed to run the Service:

• Service providers that host our servers, deliver content, provide crash reporting and analytics, and operate advertising networks, acting under contracts that restrict their use of your data to the services they provide to us.
• Advertising partners, which receive advertising identifiers and related device data to serve and measure ads. Where required by law, we ask for your consent first; you can also limit ad tracking in your device settings.
• App store platforms (Apple and Google) in connection with purchases, subscriptions, and store-level analytics.
• Professional advisers, auditors, and authorities where required by law, or to protect our rights.
• Successors, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where personal data may be transferred as part of the business, subject to this Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our games generally use local storage and SDKs rather than browser cookies. Our website does not use advertising cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies.

5. International Transfers

We are based in Hong Kong. Your data may be stored or processed in Hong Kong, the United States, the European Economic Area, and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Where personal data protected by GDPR is transferred outside the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. Data Retention

• Account and gameplay data: for as long as your account exists, and for up to 24 months after your last activity, unless you request deletion earlier.
• Support correspondence: up to 24 months after the request is closed.
• Purchase and accounting records: as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law.
• Crash and diagnostic logs: up to 12 months.

7. Security

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access control, and data minimisation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by law.

8. Children

Our games are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and the UK where local law sets that age). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below those ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at contact@magicgamehk.com and we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
• correct inaccurate data;
• delete your data (see Section 10);
• restrict or object to processing, including targeted advertising;
• data portability;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal;
• lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Hong Kong, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data).

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, California residents also have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise any right, email contact@magicgamehk.com. We respond within the period required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. Deleting Your Account and Data

You can request deletion of your game account and the personal data associated with it at any time:

• email contact@magicgamehk.com with the subject “Account Deletion”, or
• use the contact form on our website and select “Account Delete”, “Data Delete”, or “Both Delete”.

We will confirm your request and process it within 30 days, except for records we must keep for legal, tax, or security reasons. Deleting your account removes game progress and any purchases associated with it; store purchases cannot be refunded through us and must be requested from the App Store or Google Play.

11. Third-Party Sites and Advertising

The Service may contain links to third-party websites and may display advertising served by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties; please review their policies. You can limit personalised advertising via your device settings (“Allow Apps to Request to Track” on iOS, “Ads” → “Delete advertising ID” on Android).

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page and, where appropriate, notify you in-game or by email. The effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect.
